Tomorrow’s Delegates and Network Leaders
Strong organizations must invest in the future. For our network, this means identifying, involving and supporting talented younger lawyers who will become delegates and Ally Law leaders in the coming years. In 2020, we will debut a new program aimed at this group. The program includes three components: a waiver of meeting registration fees for lawyers under 45 attending their first Ally Law meeting; special training sessions on business networking at the AGM, and in a six-month video conference course starting after the AGM; and establishing a group of our younger lawyers to share insights and ideas about the next generation of Ally Law.
Innovations in the Business of Law
Strong organizations must continually improve their operations. In the next year, we will shine a light on the innovative ways that members are growing their businesses, building their competitive advantage and enhancing services to clients. These innovations range from clever use of new technology and artificial intelligence, to innovative marketing and business development initiatives; from internal cultural change projects, to steps firms are taking to attract, train and retain their best talent. During our 2020 AGM and regional meetings, our regional conference calls, in this e-newsletter and in our blog, we will showcase examples of member innovations.
Stay tuned for more information about these 2020 initiatives early next year, In the meantime, please enjoy the holidays and have a safe and happy new year!
