Duro & Goebel is a mid-size independent business law firm established in 1995. Our firm’s philosophy and identity are to serve the clients as a boutique law firm, to give expert and strategic advice and to provide efficient and focused service to our clients’ challenges and opportunities.

The law firm was founded by Charles DURO. Marianne GOEBEL joined the firm as partner in 1996. Duro & Goebel is currently made up of approximately fifteen lawyers comprising the two partners, 5 senior associates, +/- 10 associates with extensive knowledge in French, English, German and Italian. Staff consists in one paralegal, two personal assistants and 4/6 administrative assistants. Duro & Goebel collaborates with major international law firms in Europe, the United States, Asia and the MENA region.

Our clients include domestic and international corporations, financial service institutions, investors, private equity investors and other private companies.

Furthermore, we assist local entities and high net worth individuals and families (including family offices) providing multi-jurisdictional advice on their personal wealth structures.

Our practice focuses on all areas of corporate law practice advice, including legal assistance in the incorporation of all types of companies, ongoing advice for all corporate matters, the organization of companies, mergers and acquisitions as well as private equity transactions and the assistance with handling a variety of agreements.

In addition we advise clients on finance and capital markets, employment law, intellectual property, general commercial law and insolvency law.

Our tax practice team assists clients with its proactive attitude, foresight and understanding of the client’s needs in international tax advice for international groups of companies. We also assist clients in all litigation in relation with direct or indirect taxes as well as in administrative law matters.

Our dispute resolution team offers deep experience in a variety of corporate disputes originating from shareholders and in post-measure conflicts to litigation about statutory duties of care related to securities and to the responsibilities of directors.
