It was wonderful to see so many of you at our 2020 Annual Business Meetings. Your enthusiasm and commitment to Ally Law forms the base of our strong organization.
In the near term, we will continue to work together to help our firms and clients adapt to the changes and challenges of doing business in the COVID-19 era. As with all things, the current state of affairs will pass — but it is our goal to keep Ally Law relevant and thriving for the long-term.
I am pleased to announce the launch of our Young Leaders Development Program. This strategic initiative is designed to identify, involve and support talented lawyers who will become Ally Law delegates and leaders in the coming years.
This program takes place from July to October and is led by noted international legal business development consultant Stephanie Wachman — a name already familiar to a number of you. The effort features six online, interactive workshops followed by live “open office” meetings and two individual coaching sessions with Stephanie. Each session will help participants improve and expand their skills for business networking with practical information and exercises. Between session assignments will focus participants in forging new relationships with their Ally Law peers. The fee for this program is US $3,000 per participant; however, Ally Law will be subsidizing US $2,000 of these costs for the first 20 firms that register their participant.
To provide an introduction to Stephanie and the program, we are hosting a special one-hour preview session on June 17 (12:00 pm (Noon) New York time/ 5:00 pm London time) or June 18 (11:00 am Hong Kong time), entitled “The Power of Relational Networking: Developing Opportunities in a Virtual Economy.” This session is a great way to see if the program is a fit for your firm.
I encourage you to participate in the June webinar—it is open to any member—and to consider a lawyer in your firm who might be a good candidate for the Young Leaders Development Program. More information will be sent next week on these initiatives.
