What is your primary area of practice, and what drew you to it?
I practice both real estate and corporate law. I love working on projects where I can spot and mitigate potential issues – and draft a contract to resolve them.
Tell us about a recent memorable project, matter or case that you’ve worked on. What was fun? What was challenging?
I recently worked on a lease where the neighbor had adversely possessed land the tenant needed. Our team spotted the issue and proposed an elegant solution which kept negotiations moving and protected our client.
Since the pandemic, what is one thing that has improved in your life?
I’ve been spending my would-be transit time tending to the garden. Walking out the back door to pick salad for dinner has been an unexpected delight of quarantine.
And now, a wild-card question: What’s your favorite place to visit and why?
Anywhere in Utah. My favorite vacation is car-camping in southern Utah, with afternoon jaunts to ruins and natural formations, and evening beers by the San Juan river.
