Changes to EU Data Protection Rules that will Impact Every Business
In recent weeks, the long awaited new General Data Protection Regulation (‘GDPR’) has been adopted and published by the EU Commission. The GDPR introduces a number of game changers which will result in increased responsibilities for businesses which process and store personal data, as well as the introduction of heftier fines, which will be as high as 20 million Euros for non-compliance and personal data breaches.

Malta Launches Visa and Residence Programme
As of (23/05/16), applications are now being accepted for the long awaited Malta Visa and Residence Programme (MVRP) which was first announced in 2015. The programme falls under the Immigration Act and provides non-EU/EAA/Swiss National investors with indefinite residence rights subject to meeting the qualifying criteral and contributions.
