Members from 5 jurisdictions across North America and Europe met recently to discuss legal aspects of cross-border dispute resolution and technology trends arising during the global COVID-19 pandemic.

Moderators Paul Franke, partner at Colorado-based Moye White, Jacques Bouyssou, partner at France-based member, Alerion Avocats gave local perspectives on the issues.

Other members discussed evolving legal theories on topics such as force majeure, frustration of purpose, and impossibility; and emerging areas such as supply chain interruption and insolvency. They also discussed best practices in litigation technology amid recent lockdowns such as digital tools, and remote hearings, where Roxie Leff, Litigation Paralegal at Moye White, also weighed in.
