Here’s an online post by Lourdes Argüello López from ACZALAW, our member firm in Nicaragua:
“I am pleased to share that I had the privilege, alongside another delegate, to attend the Ally Law Regional Meeting in Mexico City, which gathered over 75 delegates from across America. This event facilitated valuable exchanges among legal professionals from diverse backgrounds through commitment, trust, and collaboration.
As this was my first experience attending an Ally Law event, I felt truly honored to engage with such a cultured and experienced group of individuals. The session I was particularly intrigued by featured insights from attorneys across Ecuador, Peru, Mexico, and France regarding regional political trends from their countries. I found the presentation of Jose Luis Duarte, about the new judicial reform in Mexico, especially fascinating, as well as the discussion on the stability and efficiency of renewable energy in Peru, where mining centers play a significant role in the economy and the way FINTECH creates a safe space to help speed and reduce the cost of transactions in Ecuador. The session provided numerous fascinating insights about the legal landscape in these countries.
The importance of these events lies in creating supportive connections within the community to provide direct and higher-quality benefits to our clients across borders.
I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the Executive Board for organizing this event, especially to Wendy Horn for her exceptional support. Additionally, I would like to thank José Luis Duarte Cabeza and Alfonso González Uribe for graciously hosting the event in their home country. I look forward to our next gathering in Argentina!”
