Ally Law is governed by an Executive Board elected by the membership and broadly representative of the breadth of the organization.
Having benefitted from membership in Ally Law for more than 8 years, it is my great honor to serve as its president.
I believe the key to our success — and that of our clients — is member engagement, which is why we continue to grow participation in our events, such as the annual general meeting, regular regional meetings, and affinity group and industry-focused events.

Wendy Horn is responsible for membership recruitment and retention, financial performance, network events, quality standards and control, and volunteer leadership support. Previously, she worked as the Chief Marketing Officer for two global law firms and as president of another international legal network for ten years.
Raised near Washington DC and a long-time resident of Minneapolis, Wendy lives in Mérida, Mexico, the vibrant capital of the Yucatán, with Sam, a rowdy Springer Spaniel.
Meg is responsible for Ally communications and member activities that promote engagement and knowledge-sharing. This includes our special interest group program (20+ groups) with regular meetups, client webinars, jurisdictional guides and joint new business proposals. Previously Meg led marketing operations for several global law firms.
She lives in Chicago with her family and Penny, their German Shephard. Her greatest joy these days is watching her daughter drum in a rock band.
Karen plans and manages our global conferences, including venue selection, budgeting, catering, transportation, and other details to ensure members have the perfect environment to build relationships. She is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and spent eight years at Microsoft as a senior event manager.
A married mom with two boys, Karen lives in the Boston area. She spends summers on Cape Cod with her family and yes, she too has a dog: Bailey, a golden retriever!
David, an accomplished business writer, creates content for our website, blogs, brochures and business development proposals. For three decades, David has written for the world’s largest law firms. From bios to practice group descriptions to Chambers’ submissions, he’s done it all.
He resides in the Seattle area and is an award-winning playwright, songwriter, photographer and artist.
Bob Johns, a CPA and formerly with an Arthur Anderson accountant, serves as Ally Law’s CFO. He handles bookkeeping, accounting, financial analysis, referral report compilations, budget tracking and dues invoicing. He is also Ally’s point person for required UK and US filings, and he works with Ally’s external accounting firms in the UK and US for tax returns.
Bob is an excellent cook, a decent golfer and loves the great outdoors and the open road.
Ty is responsible for the design, programming and updating of our website, blogs and referral reporting platform. He has created websites for businesses, both large and small, for nearly twenty years.
Ty travels extensively around the world and often can be seen flying over the beach in his paramotor.
Sandra facilitates communication between the headquarters team and members, including calendar management, file organization, marketing materials, and other document production. She previously provided executive-level administrative support to large healthcare organizations.
She lives in the beautiful mountains of Pennsylvania with her family and cherished pet, a Miniature Schnauzer named Little Ann.
