We’re thrilled to announce our 2025 EMEA Regional Conference, which will be held October 16–18 in Riga, Latvia. This annual event will bring together more than 45 delegates and guests from member firms across Europe and the United Kingdom.

Hosted by Ally Law’s Latvia member firm, Spridzans, Snipe & Hramcenko, the three-day event will feature substantive sessions exploring creative innovation strategies for mid-sized firms, cross-border client collaboration, cultural and jurisdictional challenges in global operations, and legal workflow automation using large language models. In formal panels and informal discussions, speakers and guests will share best practices for challenging firm management issues and hear how corporate legal leaders navigate complexity in international legal landscapes. Sessions will include practical insights on cross-selling strategies and real-world case studies from firms successfully leveraging the Ally Law network across borders and specialties.

In addition to the various sessions and roundtable discussions, delegates and guests will experience Riga’s distinctive cultural heritage. The program includes a reception and dinner at 3 Pavaru Restorans, located in the restored 18th-century Jacob’s Barracks, and a finale dinner at The Whitehouse, celebrated for its modern Latvian fusion cuisine. An optional Art Nouveau walking tour will showcase Riga’s remarkable collection of more than 800 buildings in this ornate architectural style, followed by lunch at a beloved family restaurant featuring classic Latvian cuisine. The weekend excursion to Līgatne offers hiking through scenic nature trails in Gauja National Park and a hands-on cooking masterclass at Pavāru Māja, a Michelin-recognized restaurant known for seasonal, locally sourced dishes.

During the conference, attendees will hear from an international client panel, moderated by host-firm founder Ansis Spridzans, during which the panelists will share strategies for building effective cross-border connections and overcoming regional legal challenges. The program will also feature a case study presentation on implementing legal industry-specific artificial intelligence tools to support legal workflows.

Paola Sangiovanni, President of Ally Law and a partner in Italy member firm Gitti and Partners, will welcome new Ally Law member-firm delegates and lead discussions on maximizing network membership benefits. Said Sangiovanni, “The EMEA region represents some of the most dynamic and diverse legal markets in our network. Our meeting in Riga will provide members throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa an opportunity to deepen relationships, share innovative approaches to common challenges, and explore how strategic collaboration through Ally Law creates distinct competitive advantages for our firms and their clients.”

In addition to the EMEA Regional Conference, Ally Law hosted its Americas Regional Conference in Costa Rica in September and will be hosting its Asia Pacific regional meeting later this year. These regular meetings give members a distinct advantage over law firms outside the network, helping ensure that current insights and experiences are shared among the organization’s network of professionals.
