Cascione Hires Esteemed Partner to Lead White-Collar Crime Practice

Clarissa Oliveira has joined our Latin Lawyer-ranked Brazilian member firm, Cascione Advogados, this month to lead its white-collar crime, compliance and corporate investigations practice. With more than 20 years of experience, Clarissa advises both individuals and companies on multidisciplinary white-collar crime matters.

Luca Salvoni, partner and member of Cascione’s administrative committee, says Clarissa “brings a cutting-edge white-collar, compliance and investigations practice to the table,” adding that the complexity of cases today require a deep understanding of the area.

Clarissa worked most recently as a named partner at Chinaglia Oliveira Advogados, a firm that she co-founded in 2020 with former Pereira Neto | Macedo Advogados partner Olavo Chinaglia. Clarissa founded that firm after three years at Latin-Lawyer-ranked Elite firm Stocche Forbes, where she led the white-collar crime practice.

Cascione is best known for its M&A, banking and project finance practices. Clarissa’s hire comes off the heels of several other high-profile recruitments, including Ana Paula Calil, transactional partner from Cescon, Barrieu, Flesch & Barreto Advogados, and IP partner Karin Klempp Franco, from Barcellos Tucunduva Advogados.
