Lallemand Legros & Joyn (LLJ)

Lallemand Legros & Joyn (LLJ), based in Brussels and Mauritius, is a full-service business law firm counting 40 lawyers assisting its national and international clients and achieving their objectives by proposing the most effective and business-driven solutions.

All our lawyers are also litigators. Our expertise covers several areas such as European & international law, corporate law, commercial law, banking & finance law, tax law, ICT & privacy law, labor & social security law, public & administrative law, public procurement law, civil & liability law, patrimonial & family law and transport law. At LLJ, sharing know-how and taking a multidisciplinary approach are integral parts of the way we work.

Lallemand Legros & Joyn (LLJ) is the result of a recent merger between two mid-sized Belgian law firms, namely Joyn Legal (created in 2010) and Lallemand & Legros (created in 1998). This merger follows a reflection on the complements of the legal expertise offered by the two firms to strengthen a range of legal services focused on business law, while continuing to ensure a global and pragmatic approach in the defense of our clients’ interests.

Lallemand Legros & Joyn (LLJ) also has a practice centered on African countries, particularly focusing on Mauritius and the Democratic Republic of Congo. In 2017, we obtained the first “Global Legal Advisory Services” license delivered by the Financial Service Commission of Mauritius. Our African desk is currently composed of six lawyers, including two partners.
