Tell us about your practice.

I practice in commercial real estate, including acquisitions, development, leasing, joint ventures and fundraising, permitting, and lending work for local, national and international clients in the multifamily, retail, industrial, hospitality, entertainment, and technology industries. I also advise individuals and small businesses in company formation, contracts, restructuring, and business permitting.

What are some unique aspects of your practice?

I am co-founder of my own real estate development company, so I understand everything that goes into starting and managing a company. This, combined with understanding how to manage all aspects of multi-million-dollar real estate projects gives me unique insight and appreciation for everything that goes into a project.

I also used to live and work in Beijing, so I have a unique cultural understanding between US and Chinese businesses.

What’s your favorite place to visit?

I can’t choose just one: I love spending time in Montreal, Rome and Shanghai.
