Cryptocurrencies and the digitization of society are among the most interesting developments of the 21st century, and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) represent a clear fusion of these two elements. In the arts in particular, today’s renaissance includes a growing interest in the collection of digital works, whether as digital prints, 3D visualizations of unique things and objects, digitized music, or other artworks that can be purchased, sold, held as investments, or used to popularize and promote the industry through blockchain technologies.

Explaining Slovakias laws and information regarding NFT's and blockchain technology

Despite the growing interest in NFTs, there is still a large information gap. Individuals and institutions interested in exploring the market NFTs have — until now — lacked a single source where they can find all the information they need to sell or buy them, or even understand how they work.

Ally Law’s Slovakia member firm, Hronček & Partners, has published a comprehensive e-book on NFTs and their issuance in the countries of the Visegrád Group (also known as the Visegrád Four or the V4), a cultural and political alliance of four Central European countries including the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia.

The e-book has also served as the foundation for the AllAboutNFT project, a multinational conference organized by the firm. The primary objective for the project is to bring NFTs to a new level and to provide information that makes them more accessible to the general public and demonstrates how they can be developed and managed effectively.

In creating the e-book, Hronček & Partners brought together a team of experienced lawyers and other experts in digitization, NFT sales, NFT taxation and accounting, who pooled their knowledge to

answer a wide range of questions, from creating an NFT to handling tax issues from its sale or purchase. To learn more about NFTs and download a copy of the comprehensive e-book, please click here.
