Cristián Carpentier Alliende, was named Director of the Project Finance, Restructuring and Capital Markets Practice Group and Andres del Real Valdés was named Director of the Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Practice Group of Arteaga Gorziglia.
Cristián Carpentier graduated as a Lawyer at the Universidad Católica de Chile and holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.), from Columbia University in New York, graduated with honors (Harlan Stone Fiske Scholar), and is also a Professor of Commercial Law at the Universidad Católica de Chile. He specializes in project finance, M&A, reorganization and restructuring agreements, issuance, and placement of corporate bonds (local and cross-border), and commercial and financial transactions, especially in energy and infrastructure projects.
Andrés Del Real Valdés graduated as a Lawyer at the Universidad Católica de Chile and holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.), from Columbia University in New York. He is a professor of Procedural Law at the Universidad Católica de Chile. He specializes in national and international arbitration, commercial and investments arbitration, and civil litigation, insolvency procedures, regulatory procedures, and constitutional actions.
Arteaga Gorziglia has 15 years in the market and is formed by a team of lawyers specialists in Corporate Law, Tax Law, Regulatory and Judicial Law who provide counselling in high complexity matters in different industries, such as energy, infrastructure, agro-industrial, manufacturing, retail and telecommunications.
