Members Share Healthcare Knowledge

On December 2, members from 10 jurisdictions around the world discussed how Ally Law’s coalition of healthcare practices offers clients a deep bench  in all areas of the healthcare industry. While local experience runs the gamut across regulatory, transactional and litigation matters, several firms reported a depth of expertise in: value-based care, rural hospitals and clinics, behavioral health, city-owned hospitals, Indian Tribal healthcare, pharmacy law, 340B Drug Pricing Program, medical colleges and regulations surrounding invitro fertilization.

Through a more global lens, members talked about their experiences with start ups, biotech, life sciences, pharmaceuticals and other medical manufacturing companies, and aspects of law around IT and innovation from Big Data.

Members participated from Birch Horton (Alaska), Evans & Dixon (St. Louis), Gitti and Partners (Italy), Lipa Mier & Co. (Israel), Much (Illinois), Musick Peeler (Southern California), Russell Kennedy (Australia-Melbourne/Sydney), Smith Anderson (North Carolina), Vorys (Ohio/Texas), and Williams Parkerhttps://ally-law.com/williams-parker-florida-usa/ (Florida).

The session was moderated Robert Shaw, a health lawyer at Smith Anderson.
